I meet with the church in Little Rock. I have been married to my lovely wife for 13 and ½ years, and we have four children. My wife and I began meeting with the church in January 1988, one week after our marriage. I have been a Christian for 19 years and my wife for more than 25 years. I, my wife, and all four children participate in the local church, regularly meeting with the believers there and enjoying the fellowship of the Spirit.
I am writing to testify how God has called me into His glorious plan. The Lord has shown me that He has a plan, and that His plan is to have a body to express Himself through and to represent Him here on earth (John 17:21). He brought me into this plan at my conversion and has been making me more and more a part of it by causing me to grow in His divine life and nature, thus making me a functioning member of the church, which is His body (Ephesians 4:15-16; 1:22-23). This plan, and how God works it out, was made clear to me through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, both of whom served the Lord faithfully all their Christian lives. Through their writings, and through my participation in the local church in Little Rock and fellowship with other local churches, I have come to see that this is the purpose of my life--that is, to be a functioning member of the Body of Christ, so that the body can be built up through joints of rich supply and the operation in measure of each one part (Ephesians 4:16b).
